…and by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

Kathi Sharpe

I'm a church planter, missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and laid-down lover of Jesus from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful grown children. We're currently planting a church and planning a missions trip back to Jamaica. I couldn't ask for a better life!

I write about Jesus, the Bible, revival, healing, the power of God, faith, and related topics. I throw in occasional recipes, home-making tips, news and politics items, and all sorts of random things just for fun.

A Third and a half dog

Ginger comes to visit a few times a week. She’s our third and a half dog.

She’s a delightful old gal. I actually don’t know how old she is - I suspect she’s “older” - maybe 7 - but since she’s not ours, I’m not really sure. She belongs to Angie down the street. A couple of times a week, she gets loose and comes to visit Lucy, our dog, and Kayti, our daughter. She adores them both. Not too fond of Daisy, our little dog (and Daisy despises her!)

Ginger will just come trotting up onto the deck like she owns the place - has right from the beginning. It’s hilarious! Will sit and wait to be let in, even! Once in a while she’ll bring her “brother” Buck - he’s not such a nice dog - a very boisterous BIG boy. We keep him outside when they visit. But Gingie comes in, plays with Lucy for an hour or two, then we bring her home. Our “third and a half” dog.

Who knew that dogs could have play dates? :::grins:::
