…and by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

Kathi Sharpe

I'm a church planter, missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and laid-down lover of Jesus from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful grown children. We're currently planting a church and planning a missions trip back to Jamaica. I couldn't ask for a better life!

I write about Jesus, the Bible, revival, healing, the power of God, faith, and related topics. I throw in occasional recipes, home-making tips, news and politics items, and all sorts of random things just for fun.

Thank You for the privilege, Lord…

We were taking one of the teenagers from our church home last night. This is a girl we give rides to often because she lives a ways out of town and her mom won’t bring her to church (yet) So right before we got to her house, she said to us, (paraphrased and understand this is me trying to reiterate teenager speak :) ) “Thanks for taking me to church all the time. I didn’t really know Jesus before I started hanging out with y’all. Now I’ve met Him and He’s in my life and I’m learning so much about Him and I’m listening to what you guys say and Pastor Danny says and my life is so different. Thank you!”

No. Lord, thank YOU for the privilege. Thank YOU for the blessing.

If anyone out there ever wonders… “Is it worth going to pick this kid up for church? - it’s a couple miles out of my way… it’s inconvenient… it looks like they’re just coming to hang out… I don’t have time …” HEY! It’s worth it.
