She’s a college kid now.
We had a wonderful long weekend with Kayti, getting her settled into her dorm and waiting in numerous LONG lines with her (first college lesson: PATIENCE).
Last night, she drove us to WalMart to pick up snax for the train, said “see ya in a few months!” and drove herself back to college.
Ken cried more than I did. But not by much.
I expect that she’ll call in a little while… hopefully she’ll always do that.
So, we’re getting on the train in a few hours. Got to schedule a taxi to take us to the train station. Kayti’s got a meeting during that time so we have to get ourselves there.
God willing we’ll be back in Greensboro early tomorrow morning!
