Church Planting
Just came across a great (did I say great? I meant GREAT!) article by Bob Hyatt, lead pastor of the evergreen community, on the topic of church planting: Why YOU Should Plant a Church.
This tackles many of the issues Ken and I have batted and boxed around with God, each other, and in our own heads… assessment, training, what should and shouldn’t go into a church, what must be done “first” in order to be “ready”… good stuff here. I especially liked this line: “Just look at the guys Jesus started with…”Â
