In Defense of Christmas

Well, I was going to sit down and write out a reasoned defense of Christmas, when lo and behold in my feed reader appeared…

Keeping The Home’s “In Defense of Christmas”

This is almost certainly better than I can do - praise the Lord! :)

BTW, I don’t agree that Santa is necessarily satanic (in actuality or in spirit)… BUT… I do agree that leading children to believe in a physically real santa, sleigh, reindeer, etc. is ridiculous. I also most definitely agree that if the focus is on santa, presents, parties, and such - rather than on Jesus with all else secondary - the entire point is lost. (But then, this is true with absolutely every facet of life!)
