Mud
I commented yesterday that I feel like frozen, cracked mud in January that’s been stepped on by a workboot.
Cough, chills, lungs hurt, teeth hurt, skin hurts, and edgy as a long-tailed cat in a roomful of rockingchairs from the meds the doc gave me (some sort of narco-speed I think… I feel like I’m in a car with a broken transmission.)
So in spite of this, I’m up and out of bed early this morning. The silly alarm went off at six, and then the dog began to make demands, and the cat howled to go out, and the other cat proceeded to eat the Christmas tree, and so I got up.
We need to work on aquariums today anyway. Pastor Jack is giving us several fish that have outgrown his tank. So we’re setting up a small tank for the small fish that are currently in our big tank, and then moving his big fish into the big hexagon tank. Hopefully it’ll work.
We also have to clean the big hex tank. It’s due for a water change and there’s also an algae bloom. We got a magnet for it (to scrub it) and an algae treatment that’s safe for live plants.
So, that’s our day! ![]()
