Go Armed…or Trusting?
The news out of Colorado last weekend was devastating. Several people at Youth With a Mission and a church were shot by a young man, who was subsequently shot by an armed security guard at the church. When he saw he’d be unable to carry through with his plans, he took his own life. My first thoughts were of horror for those involved. My second were more personal - Could have been my kids, our church.
Must we arm ourselves?
What’s the biblical basis for doing so? Is there one?
