…and by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

Kathi Sharpe

I'm a church planter, missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and laid-down lover of Jesus from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful grown children. We're currently planting a church and planning a missions trip back to Jamaica. I couldn't ask for a better life!

I write about Jesus, the Bible, revival, healing, the power of God, faith, and related topics. I throw in occasional recipes, home-making tips, news and politics items, and all sorts of random things just for fun.

In Level Cross tonight

If I’ve got any readers today from Level Cross, drop by Acts Temple tonight from 4-7 and enjoy a FREE hot dog & soup dinner! As our pastor says, “come and have a meal on Jesus”*. Feel free to drop by any time during those hours - we’ve got plenty of food. :)

* for my readers from other parts of the world… I feel compelled to explain the “on Jesus” thing because I think it’s a regional expression. Let’s say four people dine out. Mary may tell them, “It’s on me” meaning she’s going to pay the bill. Sally may explain to Jane, “It’s on Mary”. When I was up north, I heard, “It’s on me” but more often, “I’ve got it”. Never heard it expressed regarding a third party the way folks do here. I can just picture a certain someone pondering the unlikelihood of the literal meaning, KWIM? Although I’m sure he will, and get a giggle out of it. ;)
