I'm a church planter, missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and Jesus lover from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful grown children. We're currently planting a church and planning a missions trip back to Jamaica. I couldn't ask for a better life!

Need to get on a schedule!

Now that I’m pastoring a church and working from home, it’s high time that I make a schedule for myself (and stick to it!! ha!)

My general approach to life is to work at something a while, then go on to something else, and sort of multi-task my way through the day. Lately that’s not working. Things fall by the wayside that way.

So I need to put my tasks in some sort of order. Maybe blocks of time where I can do certain things will be helpful… for example,

Spiritual Things (praying, Bible Study, etc.)

Church Things (sermon prep, book-keeping, web site upkeep, visitation, etc. etc.)

Work Things (writing, google, etc.)

Home Things (cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.)

Personal Things (rest and relaxation with self, friends, and family)

I like the idea of a home management notebook, but I’ve never been able to keep up with one.

I will probably have to put pencil to paper on this!

    Shame you’re so busy….otherwise you could help shovel the 5″ of snow off the driveway. :)

    Actually, Mother Louise sang the Hallelujah Chorus that night. She wants me to see if I can find it on iTunes :D

    And I don’t shovel snow. I’m allergic. :P
