…and by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

I'm a missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and barista from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful children (the youngest went to college in the fall!). My hubby and I are ordained ministers & currently informally training to be church planters. I couldn't ask for a better life!

Signed up for PPP (Pay Per Post)

Get paid to blog? Are you kidding?

Nope, not kidding… it’s no joke! You can get paid (and paid well!) to blog these days.

I kept seeing references to Pay Per Post on several Pneumabloggers’ sites, and I wondered, “Hmmmm… what is this?” After reading up on it, I decided to add it to my online money-making repertoire. (Which also includes Adsense and Associated Content)

The premise of PPP is simple: sign up your blog, then write posts on targeted topics. Get paid.

There are certain requirements for bloggers that want to sign up. For example, your blog must be more than 90 days old, have a certain number of posts, and have accessible archives. Your blog must go through an approval process that takes several days.

Once you are approved, you add a simple line of code to your blog (for Wordpress, it goes in the footer). This code helps PPP track information about your blog. Then, you can review and accept offers.

Offers come in several types - many want you to write a text review on a product or subject. Others want short audio or video clips. Each offer comes with the price the company will pay, and lists the requirements the company has for that offer. For example, the company may require 200 words and the placement of links in your post. Of course, they want you to spell check! PPP also requires that you post things other than paid posts, and limits the number of posts you can do per day. This keeps the system fair for everyone.

I like the fact that if you’d like, you can donate the proceeds of any/all your posts to charity. I might do that in the future, but right now, the charity is ME! I need to be making about $30,000 per year, but I really don’t want to go back to “work” - I love the flexibility I have working from home. I’m not sure I’ll make all $30,000 at PPP (not sure I won’t, either!), but I’m sure I’ll have fun doing it!

Be sure to check them out! :)
