Why am I so snarky? Because the sneaky democrats are keeping back $1200 or so dollars from me because they can’t get their way. Why not pass the bill, and then come back with a new bill to get what they want? (Actually, I don’t object to what they want for a change… but… there’s no reason whatsoever to punish everyone over it!!)
$1200 may not be a lot of money to Nancy Pelosi.
I’m convinced that anyone who works as a politician should be forced to live at minimum wage… the absolute cap on what they can earn while in office. I wouldn’t object to them getting a lump-sum payment when they’re through, at the rate they’re currently being paid, so long as they’re not allowed to borrow from it while still in office.
