DAYEINU!
Each year at the time we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, I contemplate the Passover - especially the part called “DAYEINU!” … It would have been enough. God’s blessings grow and grow… He adds one to another to another to another; His blessings are without end. Hallelujah!
If only the Lord God had taken us out of Egypt . . .
Dayeinu!
If only the Lord God had taken us out of Egypt and not passed judgment on the Egyptians . . .
Dayeinu!
If only the Lord God had passed judgment on the Egyptians and not parted the sea for us . . .
Dayeinu!
If only the Lord God had parted the sea for us and not taken care of us and fed us manna in the desert for 40 years..
Dayeinu!
If only the Lord God had taken care of us and fed us manna in the desert for 40 years and not given us the Sabbath rest . . .
Dayeinu!
If only the Lord God had given us the Sabbath rest and not brought us to Mount Sinai and given us the Torah . . .
Dayeinu!
If only the Lord God had brought us to Mount Sinai and given us the Torah and not brought us into the land of Israel
Dayeinu!
If through Jesus, we received eternal salvation and not received His Holy Spirit….
DAYEINU!
Had He given us His Holy Spirit and not bestowed us with the fruit and gifts of the Spirit….
DAYEINU!
Had He bestowed us with the fruit and gifts of the Spirit and not given us His peace….
DAYEINU!
For all these, alone and together, we say . . .
DAYEINU! DAYEINU! DAYEINU!
It would have been enough… for us. It wasn’t enough for You.
Bless You Lord!! Thank You.

5 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king’s palace:
25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. 27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. 28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Can you read the writing on the wall?
Will you ask? Will you seek Him? Will you knock, so He will answer?

I think I’m going to meet the same fate as he did, that’s why. And check your mail - I have a question for you…

If only the Lord God had taken us out of Egypt . .
“Let the Hebrews go, Great One, or we are all dead men. Uhhh.”
