Going shopping today
Since it’s going to be a nice thunderstormy afternoon, we’re going to go grocery shopping. The house’ll be clean and the lawn mowed - I’m taking a quick break before sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor. Put away cleaning supplies and I’ll be done.
Here’s our meal plan for the next two weeks - based on what I have on hand and will buy -
Breakfast - rolled oats, yellow corn grits, eggs, toast, bacon, fresh fruit
Lunches - leftovers, tuna, roast beef, salad, tabbouleh, steak sandwiches, Jamaican patties
Suppers -
- curry fish, rice & peas, steamed cabbage
- pintos & salad
- lentils + couscous
- beef and barley stew
- stirfry chicken and pasta
- beef/broccoli stir fry
- tuna pasta
- jerk chicken, sweet potato, steam cabbage
- curry chicken
- split pea soup
- chili
