Todd Bentley speaks against critics at the Florida Healing Revival

Todd had this to say about critics (emphasis is mine, to reflect what’s on the video):

“I can hear people saying, ‘you know what? I wouldn’t want to go into that meeting and act like that preacher in the pulpit right now.’

Well that’s why I’ll have a worldwide revival while you’re doing whatever you’re doing. ‘Cause I don’t care. I just want Jesus - I just want Jesus - I just want Jesus

- so sit there in your home, sit there in your little church, and judge and criticize, or come and be touched by the power of God.

And if that means there’s gonna be a little manifestation, I’m telling you, you can not have revival with a clean trough, the trough is gonna be messy. But I want Jesus more than I want the favor of man, I want Jesus more than I want the blessing and opinion of man. And I just don’t care what you think.

People are getting saved - people are getting healed - people are getting delivered - and we’re hungry for Jesus. “

I didn’t comment on Bentley so much as on the peculiar Internet Discernment Amplification Effect (IDAE) that events such as Lakeland seem to evoke.

So where in scripture does it mention that “revival” is going to be messy. It just more babble from the LAtter Rain crowd that they are using to condone the excesses, the extra and unbiblical nonsense. Trgcially, now people are more deceive now the Wagner and Joyner and Arnott have given there official “okey-dokey”. Particularly what was laughable is Wagner’s blessing by Wagner because of his mand made apostleship. Wagner, if you can’t even discern heresy and demonic spirit manefistations, you sir, aren’t eligible to hold a door open to a sanctuary, let alone some “apostolic authority>” Believer;s are warned scripturally to have nothing to do with these men and their enumerated manipulations and heresies. The apostolic and prophetic movements of today are nothing more than regurgitated lies that William Branhma, yes the Branham that Bentley is enamored with, yes the same Branham that called the doctrine of the Trinity “demonic”, and beleived the The Word, the pyramids, and the zodiac were equal in truth…nice Trinitarian filth huh folks. Yes the same Branham, that beleived in UFO…Art Bell would be proud. Again no matter how many falsehoods are spewed by th Word Faith Movement, the TBN’s, the GODTV”s, the more you folks keep lapping it up, instaed of sound biblical exegesis, being rtuth centered, you find all sort of mena nd women who entertain your itching ears. Even, if and when Bentley is furhter exposed, or hsi missionary pal David Hogan, or the Duplantis’, the Hinn’s, or the Copleands, all who have been warned by those with propthic giftings and callings, you would rather tolerate and prmote these fools. It is so beyond pathertic, and yet PAul and Jesus warn us that these things WILL occur. And one day all of will stand and give account for what we beleive, what we allow in our lives. Keep following after charlatan’s and you will havean opportnunity in an eternal Hell to be enetertained “up close and persoanl”.

Ron, where is there anything neat and tidy in Scripture?

I don’t follow after men. I follow Christ - as do all of the revivalists I know.

    But it’s all such a broken record anyways… :)

  7. Ron Larson Says:

It is a broken record, we agree on that. Watching the commisssioning service was so beyond grievesome, especially Stacey Campbell, manifesting demons, and the hissing, while Bentley layed on the ground shaking, completely out of order. But what would you expect from someone who si manifesting the falsehood of his hero Willaim Branham. I would like to know where Peter Wagner received his Apostolic authority, because it’s eveidential that he nor any of the other alleged Apostles and Prophets have na ounce of discernment when it comes to demonic manefistations in front of their eyes, nor any biblical thelogy that PAOSTLES AND PROPHETS are supposed to have. These folks are so enamored with the supernatural that basic christian doctrine is ignored in favor of ecstatic insanity and the cash flow that is pouring into these meetings.

  8. Joe Bednarsky Says:

I shared this with our members the other day and thought I would share it here as it seems their are a lot of people that are judging Todd Bentley:(

Today’s Bible Verse, Thought & Prayer for 07-02-08

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:2/NIV

    Thought…
Jesus is concerned that we not have a critical spirit toward others, especially about their motives as to why they did something. We can’t assume to know another person’s heart; only God can. When we are unfairly critical, overly harsh, or unduly judgmental, we need to remember that God will use that same standard on us. I don’t know about you, but I need grace. So do those I love. I’m going to try very hard to be as gracious toward others as I’m trusting that God is going to be gracious with me.

    Prayer…
Forgive me, Abba Father, for the times that I’ve been far more critical of others than I should be. Arouse within me a passion to be gracious toward others so that they can see your graciousness shining through me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

  9. Rev Frederick G Merry Says:

But what people are judging is the fruits of Todd Bentley. If they don’t line up with what the Bible says then they can be judge, not the man but the fruit of the man and things he says and does, doesn’t line up with the Word of God. thats the problem.

  10. Joe Bednarsky Says:

What do you think of the Florida Outpouring revival in Lakeland Florida?

I hope anyone reading this will come and join my forum and add their input on this subject, all Biblical teachings are welcome.

Well I guess lots of people will view what was said differently. The news media will dig and dig. I now believe lets just pray that the Lord’s will be done
