More on Todd Bentley ministering in Concord, NC
Here’s something else that happened in Concord… at the end of the service, Todd did impartation like he usually does. Call out sections to go up for the laying on of hands.
One of the people with us practically rushed the stage when it was impartation time, but they were trying to call sections and it wasn’t our turn so the rest waited. We all knew that it wasn’t time yet (and figured it was due to that). When we realized that the mob was just too much and there wasn’t going to be any section-calling, we went and got in line (maybe 10-15 minutes).
Just as we got in line, a lady came up and said, “I’m just going to join you guys, is that ok?” and started helping Linda walk… and we were like woah, complete stranger. In some settings I think I’d feel threatened by that sort of behavior, but Greta was so obviously a sister in the Lord (she was glowing for one thing… I think we all were by that point) that we just invited her to join and go through the line with us, and it was like we’d known her forever, that she was FAMILY.
She was from there in Concord. Told me about all of the churches there, and none have any unity, few are doing any outreach and evangelism, drugs crime teen pregnancy etc. is on the rise (sounds like Level Cross). She said she was hoping Todd would come back, because the area NEEDS revival. The Holy Spirit rose up in me and I grabbed her hand and said, Todd doesn’t need to come back. That’s why you’re in this impartation line. YOU bring revival to Concord! I thought she was going to come unglued… but she received it, and received of the Lord, and I pray that she does just that!!

My husband and I would have loved to go to that service last night, but gas prices are keeping us close to home (we’re about 300 miles from Concord). Our area is in desperate need of revival, too, and some from this part of NC have been to Lakeland. One person I know said that one of her church members’ grand daughter has been, and when she visited that church, the PASTOR got slain in the spirit, and is now on fire. I’m praying for this outpouring to spread here and catch fire like crazy! Thanks for giving info about last night’s service!

We don’t need revival we need true Christians who will disciple others. When Jesus came here he discipled people daily. When he went to heaven he left people here to disciple people Daily. We have lost that sort of family type of discipleship. The day of Pentecost when 3000 people were saved it was very interesting what happened. They worked together they shared everything and they even shared their money. When they gave their hearts to Christ they no longer belonged to themselves but belonged to GOD and this meant that they were truly family with God’s people. This has changed in this day and age. I have belonged to many churches and they have failed to disciple me and others, this in return made me a new Christian then fail. Have you ever heard of AA, of course you have. Well when someone truly joins AA they have to find a sponsor, and that sponsor is responsible for helping this person stay off the stimulants. Well, when a person gives them self to God shouldn’t that person have a person guiding and instructing that person towards the right paths of the Gospel. Sorry lady it is not all about reading the book of John, because if I am a new Christian I am not going to understand some of it. Who do I turn to? My Christian friends…I have none. Or perhaps my pastor… he is too busy with his rich congregates. I hope this helps you see the truth. God Bless, in Jesus name.

#SHJ… I hate that you couldn’t make it. Where do you live? We’re in Level Cross (near Greensboro). Is there anywhere you can get impartation?
#Olga… we do need true disciplers. However, the church has done a shabby job of it over the years. It sounds like you’ve been to some terrible churches, including some that teach some outlandish things by your other posts… and are in need of discipling now. Where do you live? I can refer you to a good, LOVING church where you can be discipled.
I’ve heard of AA. It’s a thoroughly non-Christian organization.

Olga, are you and Ralph married, or are you the same person? It’s Ralph’s posts I was referring to…
But why would Olga or Ralph call themselves “otammy”… ?

Olga stated, “This has changed in this day and age. I have belonged to many churches and they have failed to disciple me and others, this in return made me a new Christian then fail. Olga, I can understand where you’re coming from, and yes, we do need more discipleship in our churches…but part of growing and maturing as a Christian is learning to hear the Holy Spirit for yourself…and that starts by YOU reading the Word and praying and asking the Lord for insight and understanding on how to apply His Word to your life.
Also, in regard to you saying you have no Christian friends, Scripture says that in order to have friends, one must show themselves friendly. This not to place condemnation on you, but God loves you and wants you to grow in Him. God Bless.

I was turned away at this meeting. I am from Lexington, I also am appalled at all the bickering and strife that is going on here. For those of you who don’t believe in this power, dont worry you will never recieve it and for those of you that do, you have found a secret that MANY here in the closed minded south are scared of. The Holy Spirit! and the power he brings with in us. Love. God does not reside where strife is. Is does not matter what kind of strife. He is LOVE. Love one another and get off this whose is right and wrong kick pointing the fingers. Sometimes we dont agree for many reasons, fear, doubt in our heart, does not quite line up or our spirit does not witness with it. Whatever the case, you should pray it out. YOU ARE NOT THE JUDGE. If Todd Bentley is soing something not in line with God then you better beleive GOD will take care of it. But for the many that have had faith and gotten healed, we need to pray and they need to get the word on how to KEEP their healing so Satan does not come and steal it away. I attend an awesoem GROWING spirit filled church right here in Greensboro! We have the spirit of GOD, healings, miracles and all sorts of stuff and we also have order and teaching. But most of all WE HAVE THE WORD! We are a WORD based church. Give the word and love. Nothing can compare and let Todd do his thing and God do his! We need unity in the body, not my ‘religion’ states this or that, who cares. All I know is I love GOD< JESUS AND THE HOLY GHOST and nothing else matters. I must learn the word for MYSELF not from any man and I promise, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and take that power and spend time with God daily. You to might be healing others and seeing things you never thought you would see.
MUCH LOVE TO THE BODY OF CHRIST

Jewels, thank you for your comment!
What church do you go to in Greensboro? Do you have a Sunday evening service (we’ve got church Sunday AM, but not PM at this point, and like to visit churches when we can…)
