…and by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

Kathi Sharpe

I'm a church planter, missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and laid-down lover of Jesus from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful grown children. We're currently planting a church and planning a missions trip back to Jamaica. I couldn't ask for a better life!

I write about Jesus, the Bible, revival, healing, the power of God, faith, and related topics. I throw in occasional recipes, home-making tips, news and politics items, and all sorts of random things just for fun.

A post for the critics

I ran across what looks to be a great blog by Seth Barnes - Radical Living in a Comfortable World. He’s got a great post with a list of sites and blogs, pro and con, regarding the revival.

He’s also got another GREAT post on how to assess the heresy hunters:

And speaking of heresy hunters, did you know that there’s even a blog by a guy who CALLS HIMSELF a heresy hunter? I’m amused - really. :)

Opened up my local paper yesterday and what did I find on one of the back pages but a big picture of the Reverend Bentley smacking a woman on the forehead……

  2. Ichabod Says:

And I think Bob Larson’s pricing himself just a little bit high, don’t you? :)

  3. Kathi Says:

Hey, can you photocopy the article and send it to me?

I suppose Bob’s free to charge anything he likes - we do deliverance for free around these parts. Even in the middle of the night. :)

  4. Rev Frederick G Merry Says:

Now Kathi that we agree on and its free for all

“Hey, can you photocopy the article and send it to me?”

I’ll just fold up the piece of newspaper it’s on and send it to you ma’am. How’s that?

Ummm, this isn’t with banjos, is it? :0

Why’ncha come on down hee-ar and we’ll find out about that now?

    :)

  8. Bob Hunter Says:

Yes, I will accept the title of heresy hunter, assigned by people like yourself or Paul Crouch. What matters isn’t the name but what is said and how it compares with Scripture. So call names all you like - it won’t detract from the truth.

  9. Kathi Says:

Bob, that’s quite true… what matters is what is said, and how it compares with Scripture.

Perhaps we should examine http://heresyhunter.blogspot.com/ in light of the Word of God?

And BTW, Bob, as a technical matter - something’s wrong with the formatting of your blog. The Youtube vid’s are too big and interfere with the blogroll to the right. I’m using the latest rendition of Firefox. Thought you should know.
