What is Morning Star?
Someone (catfantastic maybe? I can’t remember) asked in the comments about the use of the word, “Morningstar” (or Morning Star)… saying they thought it was a term ascribed to satan.
The phrase comes from Revelation 22:6:
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”
There’s some confusion because in Isaiah 14, lucifer is alluded to as the morning star. Here’s a site with some information to prayerfully investigate: http://www.ccg.org/english/s/p223.html — I say prayerfully investigate because I’ve not taken the time to see if they’re 100% right. I skimmed it and it’s interesting information, but I’m not sure that a) it’s all correct or that b) it answers the question fully… need more time to look myself!

Yup, that was me! Thanks for clearing it up.
I’m not entirely satisfied with the way the website tried to tie things all together, but that’s probably a function of my view of the Bible. The linguistic explanations were very helpful, though.
