Carl gets the “Best Todd Bentley Post Yet” award today…

My buddy Carl over at Revival Blog came out with a FABULOUS post today regarding Todd Bentley:

Why I know that Todd Bentley’s ministry will be restored

  1. Todd preached grace and restoration.
  2. The Body needs him.
  3. God likes to show off His Grace.
  4. Todd Bentley is Called.
  5. Todd is a Christian.
  6. God is love.

Visit his blog - all of those points are expounded on quite nicely.

    1. I have only seen youtube videos and heard from people who have been there, so I don’t have a first person account, but this point seems iffy.

    2. Pure opinion and nothing more.

    3. Interesting way of putting with it, and can’t argue with ya there, but I think God’s way of showing off his Grace could (and does) come in many forms, not necessarily TB’s ministry being restored.

    4. Speculation at best.

    5. Lots of people are Christians. Lots of Christians also make mistakes similar to Bentley’s. Not every Christian is called to lead a huge ministry… especially such a controversial one, and especially if they have struggled with fidelity on more than one occasion. Being a Christian doesn’t automatically mean you are called to something big and flashy and potentially dangerous. “Preach the gospel at all times. When necessary, use words.”

    6. Amen! I don’t see the relation.

    Great points Alycin :)

  3. Ilona Says:

    @ Alycin: that’s a bit harsh.

My prayers are always with a brother or sister in Christ being as restored and saved to the fullest as possible.
