…and by His stripes we are healed. (Is. 53:5)

Kathi Sharpe

I'm a church planter, missionary, freelance writer, web designer, and laid-down lover of Jesus from Level Cross, NC. I'm married with 3 wonderful grown children. We're currently planting a church and planning a missions trip back to Jamaica. I couldn't ask for a better life!

I write about Jesus, the Bible, revival, healing, the power of God, faith, and related topics. I throw in occasional recipes, home-making tips, news and politics items, and all sorts of random things just for fun.

Twitter

I must say, Twitter is an amazing little time-waster invention :) I’ve merrily tweeted for a couple of months now - sometimes random stuff, reminders to myself, miniature posts. Nothing *important* really, but the last couple of days it’s gotten more meaningful. I know how to use it a bit better now with @’s and direct messages.

So, I’ve connected with people and prayed for a couple of complete strangers - like for 2 guys who are serving in relief efforts in LA, and someone else who was sick/having a bad day. Maybe random people pray for me, too. Hope so.

I have to wonder - is anyone using Twitter for outreach/evangelism? I’m not seeing it be as productive a medium as a forum, IM’s, or email could be… but perhaps to plant a seed here and there, or to round out conversation?

Sounds like a good idea. Wish I’d thought of it myself.
