I think I’m done calling them “Heresy Hunters” – I might take to calling them “weevils” instead. Weevils are little bugs that sneak in and ruin crops… and Todd Bentley’s had a bunch of determined weevils for a long time.

I’m not a fan of pesticides, but some uses are justified.

I agree that the witchcraft tipped an already full bowl. Where he was in sin, who is to say God was not dealing with him like us all during those intense times of worship.
I talked with some intercessors down there. It was bad. I think the intercessors needed reinforcements and the body dropped the ball. I know I did, I was too busy loving the worship to interceed.

Well on my second cup of coffee. No one can cause someone to fall. Its like this, when God gave man the right to think and act he knew man would make good choices and bad ones. TB made the bad one, not witches or goblins. TB is responsible for his actions of what he was doing. He knew what is right and what is wrong. For those who attend, they went to receive from God. Many did, and many didn’t. But lets stop putting the blame on everyone else except the ones who knew TB was still being in counseling and TB himself. Christians have been putting the fear of witchcraft infiltration into the minds of the church forever. Having seen from both sides, it’s just not happening.
If it is at all, it’s by their own doings, not that of pagans.
I had a witch tell me one time they get lots of credit when they don’t do a thing to deserve it. Its time for Christians or those who believe to stop giving credit to the enemey and start to look within themselves for their down fall
Like Rev. Merry says, no one an cause someone else to fall. Yes, Satan can put stumbling blocks (temptations) in our path, “but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed” (James 1:14). We can pray for God to protect His servants from physical attack (illness, assault, etc.) and even ask Him to grant grace and strength to withstand temptation (which He does anyway, (I Cor. 10:13), but if a person decides to disregard God’s help, and willingly open the door to Satan by yielding to temptation, then that person’s free will rules.

(a) they had to list their success stories to assist in keeping their reputation never mind that Wendy Alec prophesied falsely that Jesus would appear in person…and (b)that the covens are partly responsible for Todds personal misdemeanour

Now see, this is what I’ve been saying all along – people DO get hurt by things like this. And whether or not certain Christians think they should, it happens.

Now I’m just curious, a few days ago Jules commented on Wendy and her prophesying that Jesus would appear on stage. What was this about? And why hasn’t she come forward and apologized? This really should be addressed or how can there be any credibility in anything that she says from here on?
Some of this stuff does get kind of weird. Wasn’t it Oral Roberts who years ago said that God told him that unless people gave him enough to reach something like a million dollars, that he, God, would take his life?!
Well of course he never got the money, and God didn’t come and get him either. And then there was never another thing said about it.
This kind of thing goes on all the time, and no one ever comes forward to admit their falseness. Nor does anyone ever make them be accountable – it’s just accepted and forgotten. This is SO wrong!
In conclusion, I find this letter just another attempt for excuse. Someday I’d like to hear someone say that Todd Bentley was wrong – plain and simple. No excuses. Just as we are viewed when we sin.
Of course no one is perfect, and yes he deserves forgiveness, but there needs to be admition with what happened first. He won’t get help by everyone making excuses for him. And then TB in turn needs to publicly appologize also. I think this is very important. JMO.

Donna, yes TB was wrong. So were those who fully believed in him and not in God. Oh as for Oral Roberts I was in Tulsa at that time, and I heard a millionaire did come forth and give him the money and will find out if true. Its time to stop blaming others for our down falls. If we must look who is at fault most of us have mirrors in our homes, so lets start with ourselves first. Why again do I say TB was wrong. What pressure in a short time would cause him to have an affair. I work a full time job, minister Sunday Morning and Evening and Wednesday Evening. I am on the phone after work with someone from my church. I guess that would not be considered pressure. At 59 it is. I am on the go most Saturdays doing something more for members than myself. Monday mornings after two services I feel bed is a good place to stay to rest, but work comes on Monday. We can use pressure or whatever, but give it a break. Pressure didn’t cause the affair, TB did
Now I will add this. The true test of God will be how does TB rise back up or does he. I agree he needs prayer, but he also needs to know that like Jim Bakker he needs to admit his sin, ask for forgiveness. Oh before someone goes off on that one. Just a question. Why does TB need to as for forgiveness to us? We cannot redeem him.
All he can say to us is that he was sorry that he did not have his entire life straightened out before God decided to drop in on a meeting of his while he was just doing what he was doing.
He should not have been doing ministry at all at the time mind you. No one argues that point. Perhaps is that what ppl want him to ask forgiveness for?
God had a choice, why did God come. And he did come, I will not argue with anyone over that. I know the presence of God, you cannot fake that no matter how hard you try.
Forget signs, forget wonders, forget miracles. It was the presence of God at these meetings that was unusually strong.
Can someone explain exactly “what” they want him to repent for. What is going to make you happy? I am just curious.
Ppl all over the net want him to repent and do this and that. I have a great suspicion that everyone wants their “pet” sin repented for. False prophet, wolf, adulterer, drunk, deceiver etc.
Only God can judge and decide what needs to be done. If I was TB I would asking God what he needs me to do. Not swayed by what ppl want me to do. We may or may not ever hear from him again. Can we live with that and admit that God can and will move where ever he wants?

Kelly when we error especially when a public figure like TB, he sinned and yes he did it at a time he should not been ministering. When someone sins, they need to ask God yes to forgive them. Only God can forgive us our sins, but we also when we were in sin, if in ministry, we must realize that we have done wrong. Its asking people to forgive him for what he did, as his fall may have affected lots of people and some may have walked away from God saying he was so almighty and look what happened to him, why should we need God. As state above, Jim Bakker asked for forgivesness because he wanted people to be free within themselves. Correct only God forgives, but what TB did could have offended and made some people mad at him, because they might have put to much trust into him instead of trust in God. I don’t think anyone here is denying that there were geniune moves of God at Lakeland, but they would be of God not of man. When you hurt some one, don’t you ususally ask them to forgive you for the hurt. TB hurt alot of people, now he must ask them to forgive him. Also in his healing process or anyone else, asking forgiveness helps in the healing process

I’m not sure that Todd shouldn’t have been ministering. Perhaps he and his counselors thought that he was ready. How can anyone know unless they are tested?
TB *should* ask for forgiveness (for some things – for others – well – I don’t think he’s going to repent of seeing angels). I believe he will apologize and ask for forgiveness. But I also know (as you point out in your last sentence, Rev) that healing is a process. Let him process, then!

Witchcraft had alot to due with the downfall of Todd Bentley. Primarily because Todd Bentley and his “handlers” were practicing the “art of witchcraft”. Those that propped Bentley up, a wanton false teacher, practioner, a serial liar, regarding his past sin, when he received his tattoos, his “confessed lie that God told him to call people to give him money…I think it was a 1,000 people to give $1,000…and is still enjoying the cash. His old ministry calims and admits there WAS adultery…AGAIN for at least the second time we know of. Instead of steeping aside, he leaves his wife, his children, and marries someone his wife trusted as a partner in ministry, and then the “new wife” is on TV talking about deception and mistakes. Right now Todd Bentley IS an unrepentant adulterer, and the notion he is being restored by of all people Rick Joyner who is a New Age warlock if I have ever seen one, is making he and Jess….twice as much a son of Hell as he was before.

The confession that God never told him to mainpulate others for cash. The enumerared heresies of the NAR who have been defiled by Willaim Branham, the adulterous affair he was ALREADY engaged in with his Nanny…you know the one Shonna trusted? The fact NO resurrections have been verified…nor will they ever, jsut more lies from Betley and Joyner. The demonstrations of Stacy “what’s her name” manifesting demons with her ecstatic prophetic drivel which proved to be nothing more than flesh and lies, masquerading itself as soem super spirtual anointing. ALL those “leaders”, prophets and apostles, and yet NO ONE until he was found out did anything knew anything, nor cared less becaue of the popularity, and cash from the Big Event, and the books, and the CD”s and the memberships…So…witchcraft…INTENTIONAL manipulation and control of those who came seeking is more than appropiate. What would you call what is factual? As a former witch as you confess, you still discernment, and biblical understanding im matters of TRUTH, church discipline, the need for shepards to protect their flock from transparent wolves.
Worse yet…you may be amongst those who will yet AGAIN attend his the “circus” he will be holding again. Legally she is..biblically she is an adultere, and is partaking and manifesting…there’s a word you like….manifesting..SIN…sexual immorality, adultery, lying…and yet, we are led to believe they are being restored. Rstored back to the preaching cicuit to sell more books. Bentley calims, he is reading, and soaking, and traveling….one the expense of those he lied and stole from, so he can live a life of ease and prosper…Get a job pal.
But when the time comes…you more than likely will beleive the Lord is directing you to one of his sideshows, maybe even hear a “prophetic word” that God has something for you to receive…and when he lays hands on you AGAIN, you will partake of the rampant overt deception and sin..he is manifesting. And it beyond grievesome, how many refuse correction, rebuke for promoting this.

Biblically an unrepentant adultere, one who leaves his wife for another without cause, is biblically unqualified. It’s called theoligical Truth. That can’t be sweat away by a the false notion, and the greasy grace that refuses to call him to leave his mistress who is as equally to blame for allowing him to commit the act of adultery. As soon as the ink was dry…bam,,,takes another, which makes him an adulterer. It is really that simple. Still adheres to the doctrine of demons called the Manifest Sons of God….what part of this is hard to understand…Oh…I know…you got a liver quiver, saw “things, “heard” things, even things completely contrary to the Word, and yet you call him your brother??

One thing I recall is his pronouncement that he was going to release and anointing for families…while he was in sexual sin, while his marriage because of his drinkeness and lying, and yet Bentley was going to “release” somehting. No thanks…I’ll stick with the word and prayer in order to be transformed into his likeness. Remember hearing of the miracles, those in wheelchairs, disabled, etc., again, no one was miraculously healed, they went home in the same condition..even after all the great “healer’s” Hinn, Copeland, Bentley etc. fleeced them, promised them. They walk out of the meeting with tens of thousands of dollars, luxury hotles, fine dining, these people go home and have to have someone change their diaper, help them get into, and cry, and wonder why God has not fulfilled the His pormises. Wonder…why God? Why? This amn, these people HAVE this anointing. Main issue…Bentley has NO anointing, he is and was a charlatan, based on the areas of his life that are proven and documented.

It’s a little late to tell me that healing didn’t happen at Lakeland because, um, sweetie, I personally know people who were healed at Lakeland.
It’s like talking to a brick wall really. You continue to demonstrate a complete unwillingness to examine Bentley’s life and doctrine, and his associates, who by their lack of fruit, character demonstrate that they are not “fit for office”, according to the word. Period. Signs wonders…there are warning from Christ, that there are people who will heal the sick, prophesy, and yet he says “Away from me you workers of iniquity..I never KNEW you.” And Bentely, doesn’t know Jesus…know “things” about Jesus, but very little. Mostly Fakeland was about TODD. This wicked and perverse genration in enamored with celebrities, and sadly, the Church acts liek the culture and the world. How many decades have prophets and ministers been calling the Word of Faith to task for the heresies that the “teach?” And yet they are beyind wealthy….financially at least. How many decades have people exposed the heresy of the NAR poster boy of filth…Willaim Branham, who regarded the TRUTH of the Trinity as blasphemous…adn yet, alleged prophets such as Paul Cain, and Bob Jones, prophesied that Bentley has a Brnahma anoiinting…He very well may…and beleiveing Branham’s theology…and it’s damnable ramifactions has defiled thousands, and they basically believe another Jesus.
I raraely ever heard Bentley talk about holiness, sanctification…just fanciful schemes and rre-gurgitated lies and techniques. I saw him to flat out “cold reading” new agae techniques, he would prophesy something he “heard” it would be shown to inaccurate,a nd then he would simply move on…maybe toss out a Bam…they fall over an d people pronounce that a demonstration of the Spirit’s power. Pure unadulterated unwillingness to examine waht he says, and does…because of a demonstration of “power”. How would you react if Ken, decided to merely “set you aside” if tragically some little “hottie” decided to comfort him because of issues in your marriage? If Ken, demonstrated signs and wonders, and could draw a crowd…the word teaches us in the end the very thing will, and is occuring in these last days, how would you react? Still haven’t answered any questions about character Kathi…because to do so, to really look at the word and who is qualified, and who is NOT, is actaully not that difficult. It may take courage, to confess and repent. I know it is for me. To realize I have been duped, lied to, and that I went along for the sake if unity or love, but violated principles of revealed trutht by the Spirit, throught the Word of God alone.
If you think Lakeland was about Todd, you definitely weren’t there
And if you think he didn’t talk about holiness, sanctification, etc., you weren’t there… and trust me honey I’ve done cold readings (I used to be a 900-number psychic) … never seen Todd do a cold reading (or any other prophet of God for that matter).
The problem with your treatment of Bentley is that although according to the Law it is correct… but according to grace it is not.

Last word from me…With all the alleged anointing, provisions, and whatever nicely crafted terms…why is it that Bentely himself never experiences what he allegedly had has or is going to get..when he goes to the next “level” realm of Glory, or wahtever nicely crafted deception. Spirituall vacusous, as he was called to repent for his intoxication, ongoing sexual sin, the fact that as he was going to “impart” some kind of family anointing his marraige and the sin that so entnagled him was already breaking up hois marraiage, and damaged his wife and children. Why if he has so much “powr’ thousands left in the same physical condition…MOST. His own wife, riddled sadly, and nearly crippled. Maybe the “superstar” himself couldn’t bear the thought of having an overweight, crippled wife, and of course he decided that his promise and prophetic words he spoke over her meant nothing. No matter what it may do to the souls, and hearts and minds of his little ones. He traded up for a newer, better looking toy essentailly who was more than willing obviusly to betray Shonna and her children,whom she had been entrusted to care for, nurture and love. But never mind…none of that amatters, because you forgive him. Problem is…he never repented, and still hasn’t, WILLFULLY left what he is COMMANDED as a man to cherish love, and to treat her as Christ as loved his Church. And he is qualified, capable and trustworthy? Boggles the mind…you have so compartmentalized thigns Kathi, you basically call what is evil, his theology, his life, his actions, his confiscations of money by lying…by the “spirit”, his audacity to beleive he should be “in ministry, you call his sin by defending him, supporting him, will willingly aloow someone who very well may be demonically posssesed, he at least it demonically opressed, and is demonstrated by his delusions of grandeur that he is being “restored.’ You regard his ministry, and the recent actions..GOOD. My bringing up these things…well I am a legaistic, unloving, mean spirited…”weevil-esque”…you call confrontation of the things I mention as evil. Because you madam,…more than likely are a deceiver amongst the brethen, and willingly, and willfully choose deception over truth.

If you choose to embrace the evil hatred you’ve expressed here, you’d probably be happier spouting somewhere else, where perhaps you’ll find people of like mind. I’d recommend herescope or “Christian” “Research” “Service” (had to put all three words in quotes as all are rather euphemistic (one might even call each word a lie)) or End Times “Prophetic” Words…. you’ll fit in great with those folks.
One last thing… (well maybe)
If preaching the pure unadulterated grace-filled power-full word of God makes me a deceiver amongst the “brethren”, they are no brethren of mine.
