Crash Update
We spent all of yesterday in bed. Ken woke up crying this morning. I’ve scheduled an appointment with our primary care docs, and with a chiro. After talking with the chiro on the phone, they’re fairly sure that I have a concussion (which the ER never looked for, in spite of me telling them I’d hit my head). They are going to look at me this afternoon and possibly send me for a head CT.
When I googled the guy’s insurance company, I saw that they claim to be purveyors of fine auto insurance, tax returns, and phone cards. (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so we’ve contacted an attorney - just in case. We may not need him, but if this turns out to be a mickey-mouse company I want to be sure we’ve got our ducks in a row.
The exceptionally bad part of all of this - beyond the pain - is that we’re not able to do simple things, like take the dogs out. Which means we’re either going to have to have the carpets professionally cleaned, or possibly even replaced. I am NOT happy.
The pain’s pretty intense this morning - plus I’ve got shakes, still feel like I’m falling, and can’t turn my head. Ken’s in about the same shape.
It’ll be a few days before I’m coherent enough to write about touchy subjects like witchcraft in the church
I’ve got an outline in mind for what I want to say, but when I look at the screen too long my vision blurs and I’m more than a little foggy from the drugs. I want to be perfectly clear in what I say on the subject, so it’ll have to wait.
Thanks for your prayers, everyone!!

Kathi - can’t you call someone at church, even one of your old churches, to come help? Whatabout your neighbour - I’m sure he’d take the dogs out for you?

Hey Kathi, have Ken put a doggy door in like we have. Oh unless you don’t have a fenced in yard bad idea.
