Charter’s got a “Green Car” contest
Charter is a popular choice for cable, cable internet, and VOIP in many locations throughout the US. We don’t have Charter here - we’re stuck with Time Warner - though I’ve heard rumors they might be leaving and we’ll get Charter instead. Which is good, because I’ve heard they’ve got great value on their bundles.
Charter’s having a nifty contest right now - if you order any Charter service online, you’ll be automatically entered to win a brand new Honda Civic Hybrid worth $24,000. Don’t want cable, high speed internet, or phone service? Just register on their site, no purchase necessary. The only catch is that you MUST live in an area that Charter services.
This is the contest to enter - you might want to because it’s a “green” car, or just because it IS a car, or just because it’s free to enter!
Here’s a link for the contest and ways to sign up/get service: https://connect.charter.com/hybrid/?ID=171&OriginatingID=420129
Now, about the car - it’s a Honda Civic Hybrid. I’ve heard good things about them. Charter’s site says it’s “polished metal metallic” (color, I guess??), gets up to 45mpg on the highway (WOW), fabric interior, continuously variable transmission, and (I’m quoting here) a “110-hp, 8 valve, SOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylider engine” (sounds fancy! And efficient!. It’s also got an MP3 input jack and USB audio interface so you can bring all your tunes with you!
