I hope that America IS racist!

Just made note of a headline on foxnews.com: Reality Check – Newsweek reporter says that if Obama doesn’t win it proves America is racist”

I sincerely hope that America IS racist.

I’m not talking about skin color – though I should note that if anyone votes for Obama because he is black, or McCain because he is white, then they are racists. I would happily vote for an orange candidate with purple polka-dots, and hope everyone else would too.

Why do I say that I hope America is racist, then?

We must elect a candidate who cares about the human race…. who cares about life. (this really should be the most basic of qualifications for someone who wants to lead other human beings…)

Obama’s policies and proposals call for the wholesale slaughter of babies in the womb, infanticide of those few who survive abortion, euthanasia, pandering to terrorists, and the degradation of our culture.

McCain’s policies and proposals call for the protection of babies, children, disabled people, and the elderly, for dealing with terrorists expeditiously, and for the preservation of culture.

So – which candidate do you think America should elect? Will Americans be racist and care about the human race – or have we become the animals that the evolutionists claim we are?

  1. “or have we become the animals that the evolutionists claim we are?”

    Oooh…..”evolutionists”…..

  3. “… for dealing with terrorists expeditiously, ”

“Shoot first, ask questions later” springs to mind. 🙂

  5. Your title was so very misleading, I was shocked at first! Haha.

I guess if you use the word “racist” the way one would use “apologist” “capitalist” “communist”…. as in, one who supports race, then it would make sense.

Then again, “human race” is mostly likely an idiom, as the correct terminology would be “species”, not “race.”

    But I’m way off topic.

McCain announced Palin as his VP. I thought for sure Obama would be the next pres but now I’m no so sure… so I wouldn’t worry.

Question: Are you a 6 day creationist? Cause many Christians believe in evolution. My good friend Jared, who is an “evolutionist” and also an “atheist” has himself said that even if evolution were proven to be true beyond any shadow of doubt, that would not disprove God. Evolution explains how life and species have changed and…evolved… over time. Not the origin of the species.

Then of course there’s the micro/macro thing. I mean, at least the one type of evolution has been proven undeniable. It doesn’t mean we came from apes as some would have use believe. 😉

  7. Ive been keeping an eye on it all – Ive even surprised myself that I have. I have tried to understand your political system and the parties etc. I would have thought McCain would choose a woman for VP? Anyway, my good friend Tracey from Denver says that McCain is like the lesser of two evils – the slighly better choice for the Christian voter…

On another note which may interest/disgust you – our government is proposing to legalise 34wk abortions!

    🙁 🙁 🙁

  9. McCain really to offset Obama needed a woman to be his running mate. I heard someone say yesterday, he should have chosen one less good looking as traveling with her might become hard for his wife. I said, don’t start rumors before they happen

  11. Alycin – Yes, I’m a literal, 6-day creationist, and I’m also a young earther.

I’ve no problem with what is called microevolution – which is just adaptation within a species. It’s not one species becoming something else entirely.

Anita – 34 weeks? That’s outrageous… tho it’s equally outrageous to do it at 3.4 days, KWIM?? Bobby was born nearly 6 weeks early – about that time-frame. :::shakes head:::

Rev – I’m not thinking we’ll have those sorts of worries out of McCain.

Have y’all heard that Palin’s Pentecostal too? AoG, apparently.

  13. I have read some on her but not completely. she is against abortion and same sex marriage, for the death penalty and right to bare arms, so she is okay in my book so far

  15. I don’t know much about American politics but pro-life issues seem to be at the heart of it. Sarah Palin has put her money where her mouth is; her fifth child is Down’s Syndrome and she didn’t abort him, unlike the 80% of other Down’s diagnoses.

  17. Aborting your child because they have a disability is the most horrible thing I can think of. Well, I mean, abortion for any reason is horrible but come on! Instead of telling a woman she needs to get an abortion because her child is going to be a little different, how about the hospital setting up educational classes for women whose children are diagnosed while still in the womb so they are better prepared? It could even just be an extension of the Lamaze programs. Is this really such a far-fetched idea?

  19. I’m not the audience, and I can’t even vote, but if I could, I would vote for Obama. I mean, I like humans too, but I believe in protecting life in terms of quality rather than quantity. And I see Obama’s policies as bound to drastically reduce the amount of pain in America…and perhaps even the rest of the world, because when America hurts, it flails hard enough to give the rest of us a good clout too.

  21. I will stick to one who believes life begins at conception. that would make it easy to vote against Obama if he believes in abortion, but if you read his site he says at least at one time said, he will obey and uphold the law of the land on abortion until the supreme court reverses it

  25. I gues Alycin, we flip a coin and least of evil shall prevail. to much not standing right for what God would want us to stand for. to many people want to give into interest groups and not stand on the word. I will stand on it and preach it until they put me in my grave

  27. Uhhh huh?

    You lost me.

I am tired of these “lesser of two evils” elections.

I was just pointing out the error in saying that McCain believes life starts at conception. If he believed that, he wouldn’t support embryonic stem cell research… which he does support.

I don’t believe in misleading people.

  29. we don’t have a true runner for the office of President of the United States who will stand up and say listen, I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I will not go against the belief that I have no matter what. I stand on Gods word
