Please, please, please do not tell me that you want things to be different in your life while you’re working so hard to keep them the same.
On a similar note, please don’t complain to me how bad things are you when you’re working SO hard to keep them bad.
Why are people so willing to lay down on the carpet so the devil can run over them, instead of falling on their faces before God?
What happened to fighting tenaciously for … anything?

A YouTube audio clip of a state lawmaker’s screed against homosexuality, which she called a bigger threat than terrorism, has outraged gay activists and brought death threats rolling in.
That sound bite is from a FoxNews.com article about a politician who says that since cultures which have embraced homosexuality have come tumbling down shortly after, homosexuality is a bigger threat than terrorism.
The gay community, of course, screeching that they’re not terrorists and that they’re not dangerous.
Sort of like the Muslims screaming and hollering that they’re a peaceful religion and that’s WHY they need to behead anyone who insults Mohammed or allah*.
The death threats are just good-will gestures, apparently.
I need to rant for a moment on behalf of people that Jesus loves … but much of the church hates. I’ve just heard from yet another ex-pagan who has gone from church to church in her city, and at nearly every one she is despised and rejected. I’ve heard from others (and seen it!) who are poor by the world’s standards. They don’t have nice clothes and can’t put a lot of money in the plate. They’re not welcome at certain churches either.
What is the church? A country club, where only the elite can hobnob?
Some people have a terrible, rude awakening coming to them… see Matthew 25.
Yes, let’s prevent small children from going to the bathroom when they need to go… what a WONDERFUL idea.
At least the school district fired the teacher’s aide!
